It's kinda ...
It's kinda impossible. That's why I start off w/ a high spf sunscreen. Even though it won't last me all day, at least it will protect my skin long enough for me to drive to school or to work. But for people who don't use makeup or for skin that's exposed to the sunlight, definitely re-apply sunblock. =)

Oh, my god! A ...
Oh, my god! A sunscreen that lasts three times longer! I mean most suncreens
with parsol have been found to not be uva photostable. This thing is way cool! Mexoryl though protects against the whole uva range but is not as effective as parsol in the long wave uva range. Shiseido can look a bit tacky on darker skins, bit more expensive, has zinc oxide as uva screen. Neutrogena says that uva in this can last up to six hours.

Fattybatty1, I'm ...
Fattybatty1, I'm also black and I DEFINITELY make sure I apply sunscreen, especially to my face.We can still get wrinkles, sun spots, sunburn(which I've had before), and even worse, cancer. Melanoma is the most deadliest cancer among blacks.Although damage doesn't seem too happen as often it does happen. We have more pigmentation than those of a lighter skin tone which gives us a more natural protection. But of course, we are NOT totally immune to the damage so it is important to wear it.

Ideally, you should ...
Ideally, you should reapply sunscreen every 2 hours. But that's just a little crazy, I think.... So if you are indoor for most of the time, I don't think it's *necessary* to reapply. I slack off most of the times myself =P. However, if you are about to head out again, reapply the sunscreen 15 minutes prior to sun exposure. If your moisturizer has spf, it should work. Spf 15 shields about 93% of UV light, whereas spf 30 shields about 96%. Hope that helps. =)

For sunscreen, if ...
For sunscreen, if you are just working or going to school should you reapply sunscreen to your body? This is a great video because I don't want to get sun damage. Also, if your moisturizer in the morning has spf, should you also put on a sunscreen? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks!:)

Hi fattybatty1, ...
Hi fattybatty1, well, it's not *absolutely* necessary. I slack off too.... but UV rays are very very harmful to skin, not just pigmentations and spots, but it can also potential cause skin cancer. I understand that for darker skinned gal, it is harder to get sunburn, although you can't see it, but the damage is there. Maybe you can consider wearing a tinted moisturizer or foundation that has sunscreen effects. Hope it helps. Stay beautiful!
