Cancer is caused by damage of cells and exposure to radiation. Damaged cells are supposed to die. Sometimes they do not, however. Typically a healthy immune system will destroy these cells. However, large amounts can overwhelm it. When this happens, they continue to replicate. This can result in tumors or cancer. Sun bathing exposes yourself to UV light - a form of radiation. Sun baking burns the skin - resulting in damage of cells.

Skin cancer is very visible. Abnormal spots, moles, moles that grow or move, and new birth marks can be a sign of skin cancer.
