will this be enough for my 2 year old on holiday?
we are going for his 2nd birthday to alcudia for 10 days, heres what i got already clothes wise
5 pairs of shorts
2 swimming shorts
2 uv protection swim suits
1 swimming tunks
22 swim nappies (disposible)
5 pairs of jeans/trousers for if we go out for dinner, we are all inclusive so we will stay in the hotel most nights
20 tops/tshirts etc
1 jumper
1 cardigan
1 pair of sandles
1 pair of trainers
3 hats, 2 are those uv protection 1s, 1 is just a baseball cap
then loads of normal nappies and socks and nightwear
do you think this will be enough??
if not tell me what else
also i have 3 bottles of sun cream for him
Wow, sounds like you've packed his entire wardrobe!! I think you have plenty sweetie although you do know that you can reuse those disposable swim nappies don't you? Will save you heaps of money. You probably only need to take about 5-10 and while one pair is drying in the sun use another as long as he hasn't soiled them with poo! Saves a fortune, I actually don't use them at all now not even for my 17 month old unless of course I go to a friends house with a pool. I also think you only need 1 hat, preferably a wide brimmed one. I think 1 bottle of sunscreen should be enough, he's only got a little body unless of course those bottles are like really tiny. You might want to pack a box of disposable bibs too and some nappy sacks for soiled nappies. good luck though and enjoy your trip.

More than enough

For 1 trip…sounds more like a Christmas list when the parent has to buy things the child needs cuz they are broke and buying things out of season.
If your going to Hawaii for 10 days… than your a very reasonable person!

You know most hotels have laundry rooms, with kids I kind of count on that.

That's a lot of stuff to trail with you! clothes dry in a couple of hours when abroad – when I took my son to Tenarife when he was 2 I took -
3 pairs of shorts and about 8 tshirts 2 swim trunks and 1 uv suit 2 pairs of trousers a jumper and a cardigan and a small jacket – but that was mainly because it was still cold here
Sandals and 3 or 4 pairs of socks and enough nappies for a couple of days – they do sell nappies in other countries also while we in private I used to let him run around bare bum – fresh air on their little botty is good for them – for sleeping I just put him a vest on – nights are very warm
Hats and sun cream
Believe me take all that I bet you use less than half of it – have a great time and your little one is going to love it everyday in the pool!

Mum to 3 girls: 5 year old, 3 year old and a 17 month old.
Hi Lou, sorry I haven't been back to you with the other, but I will very soon, as for this question.
You have more than enough, I would go as far as saying your most like not going to use all that stuff on him. Hey Lou who am I though I am a mere male, not a Mr. Mom.
Lou, I see a holiday as a holiday, to travel light and relax, but hey listen you guys have a great time, drop me a line or two and let me know how it's all going.
Chris
