    There’s a Neutrogena sunscreen that’s even better for teh face than the Aveeno, I’ve tried both. It’s Neutrogena, and I forget the name. It has SPF 70 and it’s not oily at all. When you put it on your face it feels like it’s bare, even though you have strong protection. It’s good for sensitive skin. I don’t know if it’s officially sweat/waterproof, but I’ve used it on beach vacations where it’s been really hot and I’ve dunked my face under water and it didn’t come off. It lasts a while, too.

    And dark-skinned people need protection too. It’s not about getting tanned! There’s cancer, wrinkles, increased/longer-lasting scars/post-acne marks, and pigmentation problems to consider too!

    Everything these days has been linked to cancer. And there are many crappy, insignificant studies you have to weed through. Some sunscreen filters are linked to cancer, but not all are. So don’t assume that ALL SPFs are bad for you. The general consensus in the scientific community, based on reliable studies so far, is that sunscreen does more good than harm.

    Actually, oxybenzone IS bad for your skin. There’s plenty of legitimate evidence that it photo-oxidizes, so not only is it poor protection, but it’s harming your skin further.

    I won’t say it causes cancer; the jury’s still out on that one imo. But there is proof that oxybenzone absorbs into your body (and then out through urine) much more than other sunscreen filters, so I’d be cautious.

    I have been using it since it came out and loving it! I like the added wrikle reducer too! Plus it doesn’t have some of the problems that you say your Aveeno sunscreen has.
