@aleg01 The shorter life expectancy was largely related to early deaths in childhood, particularly infancy (and for women, childbirth) and of course, disease. Should you conquer that, you could reasonably expect to live to a nice ripe old age comparable to what we have today. Our life spans have largely stayed the same over the course of history.

A new mole appeared lately on my back after a sunburn… (well, I’m not sure if it was there before, I just noticed it after the sunburn) And I will see a doctor.
My brother died of …
My brother died of melanoma just after his 40th birthday. He knew he had a mole that was changing but didn’t see a doctor until it was too late. Never hesitate to see your doctor if a mole looks different. Days actually can make a difference between life and death.
